Washer won't start

If the problem with your Whirlpool made direct drive washer is that is not starting in any of the cycles that you try it on.

In other word the washer is acting like if it is disconnected from the wall outlet. You will need to check the following parts until you find out the part that needs to be replaced to get the washer working properly again.

Listen, you will need to watch the videos more than one time in order top learn how every repair is done. Don't start tearing down the washer until you know how to check each of the parts in the starting circuit. Follow my instructions and you have a very good chance of fixing your Whirlpool made direct drive washer yourself


Washer won't fill

If th washer is not filling at all or is not taking cold water or not taking hot washer. Or if the washer is taking forever to fill the tub with water.

You will need to check the following parts until you find the parts causing the problem.


Washer won't agitate

If the washer fills with water to the selected level and the motor runs but the washer won't agitate to wash the clothes. You will need to check the following parts until you find the one causing the problem


Washer won't drain out

If your Whirlpool made direct drive washer fills with water to the selected level, the motor runs and the agitator oscillates to wash the clothes. But when is time to drain the water from the tub is not draining complete. You will need to check and make sure that the drain hose is not kinked preventing the water to flow to the drain pipe.

You will need to check the following parts until you find out what it is stopping the washer from draining. 


Washer won't spin

If the washer is filling with water to the selected level, is agitating properly, is draining properly, but is not spinning to squeeze the water from the clothes.

Or is spinning but is not spinning at the proper speed. You will need to check the following parts until you find out the part preventing the washer from spinning properly


Washer leaks water

If your washer is leaking water check the following parts until you find out the part responsible for the leak


Washer make noises

Noises that are louder that normal could be cause by any of the parts listed below. Some washer may not be worth fixing but with my videos you will be able to do most repairs with out having to call a repair company.
