Let me explain how the Whirlpool direct drive washer
water temperature switch supposed to work
This switch is in charge of directing the electricity to
the water valve solenoids according to the selection on
the switch Electricity flows from the
timer to the water level switch through the violet &
pink wires. From the water level switch, electricity
flow to the water temperature switch
From
the water temperature switch it will flow to the
solenoids in the water mixing valve according to the
selected temperature on the switch.
When your Whirlpool direct drive washer water
temperature switch is set to Cold/Cold, the washer
will fill with cold water.
When it is set on the Hot/Cold setting., the washer will
fill with hot water
When it is set to the
Warm/Warm setting, the washer will fill with warm water
Please remember that in order for the washer to fill
with the water temperature selected on the switch, all
the other parts involve in the filling circuit have to
be working properly. |
